Navios South American Logistics Inc. (“Navios Logistics”) is one of the largest logistics companies in the Hidrovia region of South America, specializing in storage and marine transportation solutions. We operate a robust network of port terminals, river barges, and tanker vessels to serve the diverse needs of our clients across two key transportation markets: the Hidrovia river system and the coastal trade routes along South America’s eastern seaboard.
With a legacy dating back to 1955, Navios Logistics was founded by a predecessor company, formerly a subsidiary of United States Steel Corporation (US Steel). This rich history has allowed us to cultivate and sustain longstanding relationships with a broad base of global clients in the petroleum, agricultural, and mining sectors. Our services encompass a comprehensive range of logistics solutions:
- Uruguay Dry & Liquid Port Complex: Located in Nueva Palmira, Uruguay at the confluence of the Paraná and Uruguay Rivers, we believe this is the largest independent bulk transfer and storage port terminal in the country. It features facilities for handling, storing, and transshipping agricultural and forest exports, minerals, and liquids. Our dry bulk port services are complemented by our dedicated transshipper vessel Navios Vega, operating in the Alpha/Delta zone of Uruguay, maximizing the cargo loaded on the largest ocean-going vessels.
- San Antonio Liquid Terminal: Situated near Asunción, Paraguay, this terminal offers one of the largest independent petroleum product storage facilities in the country.
- River Transportation: Operating one of the largest fleets of push boats and barges in the Hidrovia region, we transport dry and liquid bulk cargo, including grains, minerals, hydrocarbons, and LPG.
- Our Argentinian Cabotage vessels. Our fleet of product tankers, serves the regional petroleum trade.
With leverage of infrastructure to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions for mineral, grain, and liquid cargoes.
